Humana Stock Rises After Narrower-Than-Expected Loss, Raised 2026 Profit Outlook
Humana posted a narrower-than-expected third-quarter adjusted loss of 70 cents per share on revenue of $41.16 billion, above estimates, and raised its 2026 adjusted EPS guidance to at least $9.50. The insurer said its 2027 Medicare Advantage bids should drive progress toward a pre-tax margin of at least 3% in 2028.
Humana lost less money than people thought it would this quarter. The company also said it expects to make more profit in 2026, which shows things are getting better.
