AI Disclosure
How We Use AI
Plain-English disclosure of where Stockbabie News uses AI, the data that feeds it, and what it can and cannot do. Every AI-written surface on the site also carries an always-visible label: AI-Generated · Educational · Not Advice.
1What is AI-generated
The following are written by an AI model, not by a person, and are labeled as such on the page:
- Babie's Radar reads — the short plain-English commentary on each options-activity card.
- Why-It-Matters takeaways — the one- or two-sentence explanation attached to news stories.
- Any other on-site AI summary generated from market data or headlines.
Prices, tickers, volumes, and the underlying market data are not AI-generated — they come from third-party data providers (see the Privacy Policy).
2What data feeds it
The AI is given raw, factual inputs and asked to explain them in simple terms. Inputs include:
- Market and options data from our data provider (e.g. prices, volume, open interest, contract details).
- News headlines and summaries from licensed news feeds.
- Category and ticker tags derived from that data.
The model (Anthropic's Claude) processes these inputs to produce educational commentary. It is not given your personal account information to write these reads.
3Its limits
- It is educational only — not financial, investment, legal, or tax advice.
- It is not a signal and not a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold anything.
- AI can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date. Always verify before acting, and consider a licensed professional.
- Unusual options activity is notable activity, not a prediction — it can be hedging, closing, or spread legs.
4Formal disclosure
