Viking Holdings Announces $1B Buyback Plan
Viking Holdings Ltd ("Viking" or the "Company") (NYSE: VIK) today announced that its board of directors authorized a share repurchase program of up to $1 billion of Viking’s outstanding ordinary shares.
Viking is using one billion dollars to buy back its own shares from the market. When a company does this, it can mean leaders think the stock is a good deal and that they have extra money to spend.
