Quanex Building Products, Concrete Pumping, SanDisk And Other Big Stocks Moving Higher On Friday
U.S. stocks mostly fell, but Quanex surged 16.6% after beating earnings and sales estimates; Reading, BBCP, Astera Labs and others also gained.
Some companies like Quanex did really well by making more money than people expected, so their stock prices went up even though most stocks went down that day. When a company beats what people thought it would earn, that's a sign it might be doing something right.
